·         2.1.1 Read article From small town to global leader on page 9 of your Market Leader book and develop exercises A to B.
A.  Read this article. Then complete the chart below.

Send these exercises in the Word file corresponding to Study Guide 1. DO NOT take photos of the pages and paste them on the Word file; you have to type these exercises (including the instructions).
A.  Before you read the article, discuss these questions.

1.    What do you think is a typical day in the life of the CEO of a big company?
We think it should be very busy, full of many meetings and attending multi requirements of all departments
2.    How much time do CEOs spend travelling
We consider must be the majority of the time, obviously if the company does has a lot offices in different cities or countries.
3.    Do CEOs need holidays.
of course the ceos need days off & share special days with her family for that this helps that will reduce stress levels faced day by day.

B.  Look through this article. Can you find any of the ideas you discussed in Exercise A?
Probably we have the image from the ceos are more rigid and formal, plus they are very distant with regular workers, but in the case of the CEOs that shows us on article is a person very warm and very human.
C. Answer these questions.

1.    Is Kaspersky a formal or informal CEO?
He is a informal CEO
2.    Is most of his business in Russia or in orther countries?
The company is Based in Moscow and has offices in 29 countries. The CEO spends 50 % of his time in Moscow, But the other 50% his travels.
3.    Does he work 24/7 (24 hours a day, seven days a week)?
No, he don’t work 24/7. Although that sometimes during business trips he sleeps little, but in his normal routine in the Moscow office he goes to gym with her personal trainer, to relax.

She  likes  work is that there is no such thing as tipycal day, she has work for differents clients on differents projects and she has to be ready for any client request    she's can work in the office, in the computer or in the phone.

Probably biggest problem they face  is the amount of change they have  to go through all the time and they have to go through that change fast at speed

Recently there was a computer system that had to be introduced that affected millions of customers and their bills.
3.    Which different groups did he bring together to salve the problema?
He brought the technical team, the business team, the project team and the suppliers together.
